Hello guys,

Apologies for the delay (system was down 2 days).

Anyway,Just to clarify things up.

ROUND 1: The Recycled Fashion Look

The photo must recreate a high fashion lay-out using only recyclable items for the outfit.

IT MUST BE NOTED THAT THE ORIGINAL LAY-OUT OR HIGH-FASHION CAMPAIGN SHOULD BE SENT TOGETHER WITH THE RECREATED LOOK USING RECYCLABLE MATERIALS.

RECYCLABLE MATERIALS INCLUDE PAPER, NEWSPAPERS, PLASTIC, RUBBER, BOTTLES, BOTTLE CAPS, STRAW, USED CDS / DISKETTES, FIBERS, ETC.

PLEASE SEND ALL YOUR ENTRIES TO glamworxproductions@gmail.com and glamworxproductions@yahoo.com on or before August 9, 2008 (saturday) 9pm

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING :

THEME ADHERENCE - 40%
MODEL'S PROJECTION & FASHION LOOK - 35%
CREATIVITY / ORIGINALITY - 25%

Also, we didn’t change anything with the original statement. (Read: Pabago-bago as per the posted statement at the thread ). What we just added (as per the clarification statement) was the fact that the original lay-out or high-fashion campaign be sent together with the recreated look. This was added in order to help out the judges in ranking and judging the entries so that they will have a basis for the recreated look.

Now, what is really in question here is the word “RECREATE”. As per definition (through Google search), RECREATE means the following:

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
re-cre•ate (r kr - t )
tr.v. re-cre•at•ed, re-cre•at•ing, re-cre•ates
To create anew.

Given those definitions, the entries to be submitted - either directly copied, replicated, reinterpreted, or inspired by – should still have an original copy of the high-fashion lay-out attached for the judges to have a basis for their decision.

In addition, in order to avoid further problems, we will be implementing a decimal point system (1.0 to 9.9) for the judging of entries. The judges will be given an excel form to fill in their scores for each entry. It will be sent to them through email.

We hope that with this official statement, the issue created will be put to rest.

To all the finalists, good luck and always remember this – “Challenges and pressures will always be a part of our lives, what is important is how we surpass and deal with them. “

i believe the rules are consistent from the very beginning.

We know there will be a lot of mistakes from some of the finalist so we took the liberty of asking the question whether it will be requiring the original lay out.

and apparently many have already done the mistakes. Geez!

But thanks glamworx!
for being so MABAIT. lol

Cheers to Peace and LOve

and more power!

love to see this competition to take its step forward into something intellegent and brilliant!
