First Photo - The man in the water.
I wish I know who the model is but I don't. No doubt na fierce siya. I like the facial expression. Kaso nga lang, mas maganda sana ang shot kung medyo naka-relax ang jaw niya. Kasi parang nangalit ng husto ang panga niya. Other than that, I like the body angle except for his right hand kasi medyo natakpan yung broad shoulders niya, which I think na asset niya. Mahirap magmodel sa tubig and I salute him kasi he really did a great job. I like this photo.
Second Photo - Jenna Doucette
I love Jenna and I love this photo. This is from Cycle 9 photoshoot kung saan nag-quit si Ebony diba? Anyway, I love this pic. Kung naging babae ako, maghahanap ako ng ganyang damit. In this photo, talagang binebenta niya ang damit. Kasi yung pose ng katawan niya dito, she looks like a broken babydoll (In a good way). Yung pagkapiki ng paa niya dito eh nag-work out. Yung pose niya hindi masyado couturish or commercial-like. It's just plain fierce. A very great job indeed. :)

A W K W A R D
Photo of the Girl
Angles look awkward and it really worked from the crooked positioning of the feet, uneven leveling of the shoulders, and the way the bag was handled w/ a pointing finger on the loose.
Waist down = artwork / Waist up = work of art
Key element of this photograph is to blend in w/ the carton background but not to a point of camouflaging oneself. The “subject” in this scenario completed the “sentence”.
Photo of the Guy
Water symbolizes tranquility and at times calamities w/c are ironies that are perfectly portrayed in the picture.
Angst and intensity of the eyes, force of the jaw down to the neck, strength of the right arm are all about the catastrophes that water can bring.
Reach towards the snake and holding it like a delicate and precious being, legs apart as if resting on a stable ground are all gearing towards the element of tranquility of the water.
Summary
Destined to be an inspiration to this cycle and hopefully directs me to participate in this cycle.

Picture 1 - the first picture evokes power and illusion. The model is strong, masculine and determined. The use of the snake is allegorical. The posture is perfect. Needless to say, while maintaining a blank expression, the model is definitely A material.
Picture 2 - I became distracted with the background but is it the right scene? The model is awkward, pretentiously awkward , but not clumsy. I may have a little sense of fashion but I do not think the clothes is something to drool over. Facial expression is best depicted in this case. The color used to project the overall concept is dull, though clean. Overall , the model is so-so. Average. Question: Talaga bang bagay ang red sa brown?

Photo 1 -- This photo is amazing. I love how the model, Perry from "Make Me A Supermodel", stays calm even though it's clearly difficult to pose underwater while holding a snake. What's great about the photo is that although the model is the most outstanding element, the clothes are still highlighted. The body angle evokes power, and while the face might seem a bit too intense, I think it's appropriate for the shot. Anyone who can make a snake look like a harmless rope deserves to be commended.
Photo 2 -- I like the photo, but I'm not amazed by it. Jenna, from America's Next Top Model Cycle 9, had better photoshoots. Still, she can wear anything and make it look fashionable. I'm not into cross-dressing, but she makes me want to buy that dress. As always, she knows how to work her body, although I wish she didn't hide her neck as much. Her facial expression is flawless.

Picture 1 (male model)
I love this picture, it's like a shot from a high fashion men's magazine. He managed to hold a good pose even under the buoyant force of the water. I understand how hard it is to give a good picture specially if your in a situation holding a struggling snake and not only that, a couple of minutes holding your breath underwater, is too much pressure already, and with the absence of one your senses (hearing), is as hard as no creative director around to assist you. However, I see some stress point in your lower body, if you could just have your legs together; you could have worked it well with your element. Nonetheless it's a great Picture!!
Picture 2 (female model)
I love Brown; it's my color, earth color. Brown represents wholesomeness and earthiness. It also represents steadfastness, simplicity, friendliness, dependability, and health.. She's none of that, she looks unfriendly, hard and stiff. If she could have just softened her face, lose awkward legs position, and look at her hands, aggressive and "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?" Kudos for the photographer, It's a nice picture but if its one of the bunch I would not choose this one.

Male model photo:
well i can see this photo is taken underwater...this model is so working it..given the fact that hes submerged underwater..and has to work with a boa in his hands..he still managed to make it look serene and edgy at the same time.i see no sign of being uncomfortable or whatever..and i see that he is working the clothes as wel....which is a big big plus..the designer of that outfit would be so so happy with the shot of the clothes...but...i think that all models should learn to find the light..coz his face isnt totally lit .....other than that..this photo is fierce
Female model photo:
i love jenah.....and i love this shot of her..given the fact that her dress is the same color as the material used in the backdrop.. oh and her legs are so working it....like some busted down, marionette legs..which gives it an awkward thing with the pose..its awkward but its not an uncomfortable position.. and my god she managed to stand out ..which is a big thing...and i love the "im a spoiled, bitchy rich girl and im in charge" look that she got on her face..and her whole body..no wonder she was called 2nd..ryt ryt?????? work work work it girl

PHOTO 1: MALE MODEL WITH AN ALBINO SNAKE
Nice use of the snake, great body language. It would've been fiercer had there been eye contact. Great effort for an underwater shot. Models usually have a hard time controlling their facial muscles when faced with the elements or gravity. The tip is to try to rest between shots so that the strain wouldn't show on your face.
PHOTO 2: JENNA'S (ANTM Cycle 9) RECYCLABE MATERIALS PHOTOSHOOT
Personally, I think Jenna and Jay could've done a better job at this. Jenna could've played with the cardboard material/props. Personally, it's just a picture of a girl with her arm akimbo. Jay on the other hand could've swathed her in recyclable cardboard paper pulp to give the theme better justice.

male model: tho photo just doesnt come across with any message, meaning or whatsoever. first, the face doesnt look relaxed. second, the tummy area seemed like it was having a hard time keeping air inside. the only thing i like about this photo is that he was able to pull off an underwater shot with an amazing effects of the lights coming from above. but still i bet that the raw version of this photo doesnt actually look like this. good finishing touches. kudos to the graphic artist. not to the model.
female model: is it just me or her pose simply sucked big time? her neck was hidden and her head looked like it was hit by something really hard. and the body angle crossed the line of the "awkward pose that would have worked" to the "awkward pose that simply looked awkward". the pose could have worked if she have tilted her head backward and thus complementing the shoulder and at least taking off the shadow from her neck. the headshot simply looked twisted. really twisted.

underwater guy:
Im not crazy about this foto…second-rate. I don’t think it will run any cover of a magazine. The model was eaten by the snake, I believe so. Nonetheless, B for effort.
paper gal:
This is One of my fave foto of Jenna since ANTM9. She rocked this foto, she made it so high-fashion even though the set is not as glamorous / colorful as the flower shoot week. Pose – superb, attitude – cant get over it, facial thing going on – astounding and that is why I cant think of any negative statement.

Lines, colors, and lighting are three indispensable elements that determine the impact of a photograph. The lines are delivered by the object of photography – a human model, a flower, a cat, a coin, a stick of cigarette – to cut across a message or visual statement. The colors and lighting are provided by the milieu but can be controlled by the technology (camera, image processing, image treatment mechanisms) and the person using the technology.
The image of a man holding a snake on his left hand is a subliminal seduction of the human phallic instinct. The near-flesh color of the snake used by the photographer or art director or the person who conceptualized this shot is a deliberate choice to highlight the snake’s head. While the snake’s lines are curved to indicate movement, the man’s lines are angular to indicate stability despite the seeming underwater milieu. This is the message thus that the picture imparts: the male human body may not move but his snake will. It is an adoration of the male species.
The image of a woman, on the other hand, shows an overworked corporate slave who may be well madeup and fashionably dressed but unhappy, tired, and perhaps feeling exploited. Her legs set apart and curved, the woman tries to keep herself upright but obviously fails as indicated by her head that almost reaches her right shoulder. Here, the lines, colors and lighting worked harmoniously to create not only an effect of drabness or misery but the message of discontent and disarray. Any photograph has an emotional hook that hits anyone who sees it. The model and his photographer’s objective is how to utilize the basic elements of visualization to make that hook snap at first glance and hit the viewer’s eyes, mind, and heart. Both photographs succeeded in saying what they mean and meaning what they say. As McLuhan would say: the medium is the message.

Photo 1
I'm not familiar with the guy, but he looks absolutely stunning in that photograph..did you see how the light touches his face?...it's so good..for a male model to pull off a shot as risky as this is..he's gotta be good...but is it the best photo Ive seen for a male model?..NO.But is it something worth looking at the second time..YES...Which means that it has something rather peculiar ..it isnt about the snake or the lighting...or the setting of this photo..it's about how he delivered..cmon you guys...holding a snake underwater??...You have got to be kidding me..I like it..it didnt seem as if he was having a hard time underwater...it's so strikingly powerful...it moves you...
Photo 2(Jenah from ANTM Cycle 9)
Okay..I love her! She's one of my favorite girls in that cycle next to saleisha and heather..but going back to the photo..She did look a bit awkward it didn't seem much of a brokendown baby doll..but there's something so intriguing about her pose...the angle of her body worked for her as awkward as it was, she served it!...sure..she didn't have the neck nor the shoulders, but it isn't always about the neck or the shoulder, models have to be unconventional sometimes.....that "watch y'all lookin' at" thing going on for her in that pose, worked! She just popped right out of the picture..she nailed it..besides, working with a cardboard background...are you serious!!...It's Fierce, Flawless and Fabulous!Love this photo...

Male Model -- Overview: What's the concept of this photo!?! I can't see any relation between the elements used in this photo; a brawny guy holding a yellow reptile wearing a pasty tatter styled shirt combined with metallic colored trousers shot under water. Photo Composition: The flare on the python's skin is quite distracting. But the albino colors of the boa create a very nice disparity with the marine ambience. Since the model was photographed under water, the light above make distinct shades on the face of the model emphasizing the furious emotion in his eyes and the partial darkness at his jaw line stresses more of his manliness. A vast of energy radiating from the model can be felt although it's strange to pose against buoyancy, the model still managed to look confident with slight stiffness. The clothes are nice but the not on his body; texture opposing tranquility. Final Verdict: AMBIGUOUS YET FEROCIOUS!
Female Model -- Overview: Out of the ordinary! Quite odd in the eyes but it is still expresses sense of style. It looks more than just a high fashion photo for me; its more of an authoritative campaign adds promoting the re-usage of cardboard boxes. Photo Composition: This is one of a very well expressed fashion shot I ever saw. The near-monochromatic setting plus the model who really look outstanding on this photo blended very well. I just like it the way it is. Dim lights made it less dark, yet just that characteristic gives it a mood. Excellent lighting emphasized the model creating great shades and shadows in her facial features. Facial expression is strong making an impact. Nice eyeshadow! It's about the clothes. Very nice color matches well with her skin, hair and big belt! And the texture of her designer dress and belt seemed resembling by-products of cardboard. Her unusual projection makes her more striking especially on the arms and legs beautifully accentuated with a hand bag and a pair of crimson sandals. Over-all, she really comes out of the picture! Final Verdict: EARTHY YET FLAMBOYANT!

pic 1:the eyes look dull and possessed. I dont like it at all. The picture has no messsage. No charismatic effect just plain mediocre pic. dream on for this model. Blah, blah blah...!
pic 2: The model is well-balanced to its background. Nice legs, nice facial angle, powerful eyes and having an idiosyncratic manner that portrayed its part well. Nice wardrobe. Good projection and very professional-looking. Fierce, fierce, fierce!

PERRY'S PHOTO: to be honest at first glance it might appear like an awesome photo but after closer inspection you'd seethat his face looks strAINED.there might be a hint of expression, but i feel liek he could have done better.his eyes look to squinted.
JENNA'S PHOTO: i love jenna's face, but i feel liek she could have done more with the photo.it's a good photo but not great.it didnt get me that excietd as comapred to her other photos.the expression of her face is flawless, imight say her pose if awkwardly good but it didnt maximize the set that she had.nor gave the theme any credit
